SUMMARY:Blackberry Removal at Willband
DESCRIPTION:WILLBAND CREEK BLACKBERRY BLITZ\, Wednesday Nov 4 and if needed Saturday Nov 14 – 9:30 am-NOON \nWE NEED YOU! \nEarlier this year in April we conducted a blackberry blitz which was very successful! \nThere were 30 volunteers that made a big impact on cleaning up many of the thickets. The City of Abbottsford is again willing to provide a pizza lunch for a group of that size.  It is understood that if we tackle this twice a year\, we could keep it in check. \nWHAT TO BRING – leather gloves\, loppers\, garden clippers\, shovels\, water (5-gal pail if you have one). We do have a few pairs of gloves and some clippers. \nTo register haroos12@gmail.com or call 604-853-4283 \nMeet in the parking lot on Bateman Road at 9:30 am \n  \n
