Blackberry Removal at Willband
November 4 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
WILLBAND CREEK BLACKBERRY BLITZ, Wednesday Nov 4 and if needed Saturday Nov 14 – 9:30 am-NOON
WE NEED YOU!
Earlier this year in April we conducted a blackberry blitz which was very successful!
There were 30 volunteers that made a big impact on cleaning up many of the thickets. The City of Abbottsford is again willing to provide a pizza lunch for a group of that size. It is understood that if we tackle this twice a year, we could keep it in check.
WHAT TO BRING – leather gloves, loppers, garden clippers, shovels, water (5-gal pail if you have one). We do have a few pairs of gloves and some clippers.
To register or call 604-853-4283
Meet in the parking lot on Bateman Road at 9:30 am
