Directions: Go to Glen Valley Regional Park, Poplar Bar Entrance, 27800 River Road, Abbotsford
We will gather at Poplar Bar and then travel a short distance together to the Blaauw Eco Forest 8640 – 257a Street, Langley. After walking a lovely, forested trail and boardwalk we will return to Poplar Bar for a walk along the Fraser River and see monument Black Cottonwoods (photo). Both walks are shaded with good footing and lots of interesting trees and plants. There are picnic tables and a pit toilet at Poplar Bar should you wish to bring a picnic lunch.
