Walk through old and second growth forest, through a thick, lush forest floor covered in sheets of moss and beautiful ferns, cross Brown Creek and spectacular Steelhead Creek and Falls.  To the falls takes about 45 minutes return or we can continue past the falls for a longer walk.

Take Hwy 11 to Mission, stay on the Cedar Valley Connector which becomes Cedar Street, turn left on Dewdney Trunk Road (stay on Dewdney Trunk, watch for a right hand turn to stay on Dewdney Trunk Road) pass the Mission Sanitary Landfill and on your left is the trail parking lot. The trail is on the east side of the reservoir, so if you find yourself crossing the dam, you have gone too far.

Level: Moderate.  The well-kept trail has a grade with some steeper sections and stairs.  A hiking pole is advised.
