    Coastal Western Painted Turtle Recovery on the South Coast of BC Speaker: Aimee Mitchell, Biologist Hear updates on the conservation of this Species at Risk and local projects underway to create new habitat and assist it's survival. The Western Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta bellii) is the only remaining freshwater turtle species in BC.
